Hey fellow wanderers in the jianghu,
Since the open beta launch, the Where Winds Meet team has been vigilantly tracking players using third-party cheating software. We've ramped up reviews on all reports and beefed up our in-game anomaly detection tech to keep things fair. Any confirmed cheaters face serious consequences to protect that pure martial world vibe everyone loves.
Cheating covers stuff like hacks, speed boosters, one-click macros, or riding those sneaky '坐挂车' exploits—anything ruining the balance. In modes like '止戈', penalties hit hard based on the mess: wiping leaderboard scores, banning from events, temp logouts, or straight-up permanent bans. For '百业战', we're tightening the screws even more, slapping cheaters with win deductions, demotions, event bans, and beyond to stop profit from shady member hacks.
We're on top of all other foul play too—check out the Where Winds Meet fair play update and the official Yan Yun Sixteen Voices fair play policy for the full scoop. NetEase is all in on delivering epic gameplay, secure assets, and a level playing field. Let's team up to nurture this thriving, cheat-free community, yeah?
Spot shady stuff in-game? Hit that report button—we take every tip seriously and keep tweaking the system for smoother feedback. Got questions or appeals? Swing by the customer service center anytime.
From December 12 to 18, devs cracked down on 746 leaderboard removals and 747 bans lasting 7+ days, including 393 forever bans. Here's the public list for transparency:
