Fair-Play Notice to All Rangers
Since the start of the public beta, the Jianghu of *Where Winds Meet* has been under continuous monitoring for the use of third-party assistance software. The team at Shiliu Alley has not only intensified reviews of reported accounts, but also rolled out ongoing technical upgrades to detect abnormal in-game behavior more precisely. Once an account is confirmed to be in violation, it will face strict punishment to keep the Jianghu fair, transparent, and genuinely competitive for every player.
What Counts as a Violation
The list of prohibited behaviors includes, but is not limited to: external cheats, speed-up tools, one-key macro assists, and any other software that undermines fair competition, as well as "ride-along" behavior where players knowingly benefit from others using cheats. In modes such as “Zhige”, depending on the severity and type of cheating, offending accounts may face penalties including complete removal of all leaderboard records, bans from related game modes, temporary login suspensions, or even permanent bans. For the “Baiye Battle” gameplay, Shiliu Alley is also tightening reviews and ban thresholds, and will impose penalties on industries or factions that maliciously profit from cheating members, including but not limited to negative win deductions, demotions, and competitive bans.
Ongoing Crackdown and Reference Announcements
Beyond cheats and third-party tools, other disruptive or unfair behaviors will continue to be rigorously investigated and handled. Rangers are once again reminded to review the Fair Operation Announcement of Where Winds Meet. How Players Can Report Unfair Behavior
If you encounter suspicious or negative behavior in-game, we encourage you to use the in-game report function to submit feedback to the team. Each valid report is reviewed carefully, and Shiliu Alley will continue to optimize the in-game reporting and feedback systems so that your concerns are handled more efficiently and transparently. By actively reporting issues, you are directly contributing to a cleaner ladder and a healthier competitive atmosphere.
Customer Service and Appeal Channels
If you have any questions about penalties, need clarification on enforcement rules, or wish to appeal a decision, you can contact Shiliu Alley via the Customer Service Center. The team will follow up based on the relevant data and logs, making sure that each case is reviewed fairly and handled in line with the game’s policies.
