Hey Rovers! The excitement for the Wuthering Waves 3.0 banner is reaching a fever pitch with Linnaea confirmed as the upcoming UP character. For those of you who missed out on previous favorites, the 5-star rerun characters will be Katixiya and Xiakong, so don't miss this chance to bolster your roster. But hold onto your Astrites, because the second half of the patch introduces the brand-new 5-star unit, Morning.
Speaking of Morning, this character is shaping up to be a "Harmonic Shorekeeper" variant, making them a highly recommended pickup. With the new version introducing fresh mechanics and a new system ecosystem, Morning’s value retention and employment space in future teams look incredibly promising. Let's dive into the latest V3 updates and see what’s in store for us!

Linnaea's V3 Buffs: A Spectro Powerhouse
According to the latest intel, the V3 skill adjustments for the 3.0 stars, Linnaea and Morning, have arrived. Linnaea has received some serious love from the developers, focusing on optimizing her handling and output. A major highlight is her Intro Skill, [Show Some Color]. When cast, she now grants herself a 25% Spectro DMG bonus for 9 seconds, significantly boosting her burst potential.
Her survivability has also been tuned up. During the charging phase of her Basic Attack [Inspiration Collision], she is now immune to interruption, and the damage reduction has been increased from 40% to 50%. For those aiming for Resonance Chains, her 3rd Chain now boosts the damage multiplier of [Rainbow Splash] by a massive 90%.
Furthermore, her 6th Chain adds interruption immunity and a 30% damage reduction to the [Colorful Parade Aerial Heavy Attack]. Additionally, casting her Intro Skill while in the Colorful Parade state now restores 120 points of [Stream Light] energy, smoothing out her rotation beautifully.

Morning's Kit Finalized?
Looking at the V3 data, Linnaea has essentially received an all-around strengthening. For players who were on the fence about pulling for her, these buffs are a great sign. On the other hand, Morning saw absolutely no changes in the V3 update.
This lack of adjustment suggests that Morning's kit is likely finalized. With less than a week until the 3.0 banner drops, V3 is probably the final version we'll see. The power levels for both characters seem set in stone, so it's time to start planning your pulls.

Future Sight: 3.1 Leaks and Strategy
It is also worth noting some spicy info about the 3.1 banners. We expect the debut of the "Man-made Sentinel" pink-haired girl, Amis, as well as the Doctor, Hess. Rumor has it that Amis is a Fusion Main DPS and could be a key new teammate for Morning, so Morning investors should definitely keep an eye on her.
Meanwhile, Hess is shaping up to be the "aftermarket" support for Linnaea, positioned as a Spectro Healer-Carry hybrid. The synergy pipeline is looking strong, so the big question remains: Rovers, are your Astrite savings ready for this onslaught?
