Special Rules
During this Heated Battle Mode, the dueling rules are heavily boosted to speed up every match and keep the pressure on from turn one. In the roll phase, you immediately gain 4 Omni Dice plus 4 additional random elemental dice of different elements, giving you a very aggressive opening each round. The first Action Card you play each round costs 2 fewer dice, so planning your sequence carefully can easily swing the board in your favor. In addition, Switch Character is always treated as a Fast Action, letting you rotate characters freely without ending your turn and enabling more flexible combo plays.
Event Schedule
This special Heated Battle Mode runs from 2025/12/20 10:00 to 2026/01/05 03:59 (server time). The window is quite generous, but matches are fast, so it’s easy to hop in for a few quick duels each day. Participation Requirements
To join this Heated Battle Mode event, your Adventure Rank must be at least 32, ensuring you already have some open‑world and team‑building experience. You must also have completed the Archon Quest Prologue, Act III: “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”, which unlocks key Mondstadt story content. In addition, you need to finish the World Quest “Of Dice, Cats, and Cards”, as this questline introduces the Genius Invokation TCG system and access to the Cat’s Tail tavern.
How to Join the Heated Battle Mode
Once the event begins, Travelers can head to the invitation board inside the Cat’s Tail Tavern in Mondstadt to enter matches using the special Heated Battle Mode rules. You can directly invite your friends for private duels if you prefer playing with familiar teammates and testing decks together. After reaching Player Level 4 in Genius Invokation TCG, you can also join matchmaking to quickly find opponents and experience the fast‑paced Heated Battle Mode environment against random players.
